Here, it's actually a love story. Well written narration and funny. The office politics are intriguing and humorous. Also--this story is believable which makes it appealing and more enjoyable to read. I can't get into the "tentacles" stories because there is no story. The tentacles are glorified dildos. A dildo isn't interesting unless it's in the hands of someone where there are stakes involved, either seduction, romance, or domination. Regarding domination, it's more interesting if the one being dominated is partially open to it and curious, albeit a little afraid. In real life, taboo sex is exciting because it's naughty...rape...is boring in a story. One may as well just take a bat and beat someone. Your writing skills are very good.
