Having them harvest blood for the iron is a waste as there is only 2.5 grams of iron in all the blood in a human body. It was just a really cool way to explain away the disappearance of the blood. Since I didn't need a gore covered robot wandering through my story. By the way if you want a visualization of 2.5 grams so you will know how much iron your blood has pick up a penny. They supposedly are exactly 2.5 grams when freshly minted. |
