hey was anyone gonna tell me about me3explorer batch installation or was i just supposed to figure out on my own that every time i install mods im wasting a huge amount of time

i think i love modding mass effect so much because it needs to be organized in a very specific order to apply and theres a few different mod managers to use and while some people say its complicated i actually really enjoy because even me3explorer,  which is infamously hard to use, has a very through guide that i find easy to follow its overall a very pleasant experience to and then i get to play the game and it will be even more enjoyable plus look better than if i was playing it unmodded!

Does anyone know how the ME3Explorer works? I wanted to use it myself but I just have no clue on what to do.

im really worried about having to reinstall me3 on another computer bc I have so many mods that I’m not sure how to reinstall the same way I did, that are really touchy and possibly outdated

I have the buff femshep mod, a default replacement for femshep’s formalwear (which I somehow combined with 1) buff femshep so the dress features her buffness and 2) another dress mod to make a nice mix — and idk how to replicate all that), an integral hair mod, a non-ridiculous edi body mod, the ashley legacy mod and a de-whitewashed kaidan mod

I’m making progress with Captain Kirrahe in a Suit. He’s got some color now.

Unlike other salarians who are already wearing civilian clothing and easier to change, such as Alud Ochren, with Kirrahe I’ve had to add properties and visually override his combat armor. There are also several versions of him in the game so it’s a matter of finding the correct NPC to mod in the first place.

I am still surprised that it’s working at all.  :o

I'm still going to be in FaceFX Hell for a long time but this makes it like 80% less painful. Also the discovery I thought I made that would revolutionise this absolutely 100% did not work at all and everything does, in fact, need to be done manually because of course it fucking does, but hey, at least I tried to innovate. That's the story I'm sticking with.

Also I've been looking at Shepard and Kaidan's little Citadel date dialogue trees a lot recently for Reasons™ and I've decided to do a very tiny mod for Shepard/Kaidan that I'll release in a few days probably.

I really, really hate that "I understand why you cheated, but..." line Kaidan busts out at fShep if she dared have a relationship in ME2. Whilst he'd clearly broken up with her. She can't even defend herself against the accusation, she just has to sit there and take it. It's a load of crap and I hate it. Did you know mShep can tell Ashley off if she tries to pull the same on him? Yeah. But fShep can't.

Bull. So, I've decided to either:

- Wholesale remove the line and concatenate something entirely new

- Wholesale remove that line and have Kaidan say one of the other contextually appropriate things he can say

- Leave it in and create a response for Shepard so she can correct him out of acting honestly kinda entitled and wrong in that moment. I have secret weapons I can use to enable this

I'm gonna think on my options here. Some are much easier than others. But when the hell have I ever done anything by halves?

AND THEY STAY INSTALLED.

I did it! I don't know how I do it...BUT I DID IT!!! My first time trying out porting texture mods for the trilogy to MELE~ I really love the high-quality textures mod by heleuss & wanted to try this out for my own personal use. I'm so glad I re-learn ME3explorer & MEM modding all in one sleepless night.... T^T
