| 2014-07-25 20:18:03 | the golden day with Sarah. | you want to see positive votes and not critics, then you should pay attention to what some are telling you instead of disabling comments. just guessing english isn't your first language, but you could still download and use a spell checking program, it would help. The spacing issues are pure formatting, if you put one big wall of text, most will either skip the story, or they'll scroll down to leave comments and vote negative. Fix that first and you'll get better votes. just trying to help. I've clicked a couple of your other stories, but won't read them with no spacing, it's just too rough on the eyes. take some advice, don't disable comments, get a bit more thick skinned and take to heart the suggestions some put. Some of us really would just offer some help, but you have to be willing to try to improve. by disabling comments, most will find you arrogant, lazy and/or ignorant and will just vote negatives on you. |

If you talked the way you type, you'd be out of breath before the end of the first paragraph...... oh wait, there are no paragraphs..... A text editor would help tremendously! Although as pointed out, uploading does do away with some of the formatting you do, you should still go back over it and try to tidy up some things before you finalize it |
| 2014-09-02 02:07:16 | Being More Social - Chapter 6 | the story is good, but the half page of 'don't down vote me' editorials at the beginning, and making people log in to vote, will garner you more down votes than you probably realize I seriously doubt that fans of other writers are flocking to down vote you just to keep their favorite writer higher on the list. To start with, no one can vote more than once on a story from the same IP address, and there's way worse writers on here to down vote, that would actually deserve it. kind of like go to craigslist and search ads, the ones who will put 'please don't flag my ad' will get flagged quicker, just because for the most part, people in general are assholes....... |
