Layland is a wealthy principality with odd requirements for girls to become Princesses
There were three things that set Bryan apart from other well-liked and decent young men who populated the two-year old Principality of Layland.
The most noticeable was his great wealth. He had become a billionaire a few times over and it happened nearly overnight. His good fortune emerged from a bad decision. You see, a shyster real estate man knew Bryan had a little money and he lied about mineral and oil reserves under Layland Acres and he told Bryan if he purchased the property immediately for quite a low price, all of those resources would be his and he would be rich. Unfortunately for Bryan, all of the documents attesting to those underground values were phoney creations of the real estate shyster.
People laughed when Bryan hired surveyors to test his underground wealth but their jaws dropped when, unknown to anyone before, there actually were minerals and oils under the surface, and not just some mineral and oils, but an overwhelming amount.
The second thing that sets Bryan apart from other men was his desire to use his great wealth to honestly and truly honor and help girls of all ages, from the youngest all the way to their forties. That was the prime motive for all he did but that part was often overlooked because of one of his very peculiar desires.
