I've been loving your stories. The subject matter is of particular interest to me and (this is kind of nit-picky but it just just irks me to no end) you seem to have a great grasp of grammar with few typos. I would offer one bit of constructive criticism...a little more descriptive build up. When Pete shows up to collect the rent, maybe describe her clothing a bit more. Maybe a little of Pete's inner dialogue about seeing her so distressed and wondering why she is so upset about having the rent caught up and his feelings about seeing Heather crying over him. |

Fantastic job! Can't say enough about the story. Your writing is incredible! The character development, scene descriptions and inner dialogue are just wonderful. Cindy is a well fleshed-out, pun intended, protagonist; with which the reader can identify and sympathize. In particular I wish to compliment your command of English grammar and, apparently, careful proof-reading. If only all authors on this site would take such care. |

Wow! Beautiful story! I must admit I even cried a little. BS...I cried a lot. IF you didn't go through a horrible loss yourself, you're an even better author than I already thought. I did..and this brought it all back. It hurt but it also felt good, if you understand my meaning. Thank you so much for this wonderful catharsis. |
