i dont know what it is about hades that makes people so horny. like. i feel like fundamentally, every single post i see about hades says nothing or very little about the game itself, it's just drooling awooga "please step on me mommy"/"i need that twink obliterated" posting but then i look at the designs the poster is drooling over and its like. i dont know. theyre pretty good, i like basically every design ive seen from hades and hades 2, i've liked the art in supergiant games basically forever, i just like. i dont get it

i keep getting recommended videos about how minecraft isn't fun anymore and it's mojangs fault. i think its such a fascinating phenomenon because i think at least 70% of that comes down to anything getting a little stale when it's all you do for years and years. of course you're going to not feel like something is as fun as it used to be, you started playing minecraft when you were 11 and you are 23 now with a job. things change and you are experiencing it.
my favourite tidbit about this issue is that 9 times out of 10 the person making the video isn't even playing the way the developers intended, and are instead constantly farming and minmaxing their way to the end instead of sitting down to have fun. "if they just took away this exploit and that exploit", they say, forgetting they can just not use those exploits...
the biggest "problem" with minecraft is that you have to make your own fun, and i think some of (not all, definitely not all) these people have forgotten how to do that.

people need to stop treating the "paraphilia" as a valid concept. in order for it to be a legitimate concept, you must presuppose that there is a natural, typical expression of sexual desire that paraphilias stand against in contrast. this presupposition completely ignores that what are considered "normal" expressions of sexual desire are entirely socially defined and violently enforced as part of the patriarchy. for example, the only reason that attraction to fat people is considered a paraphilia is because fatphobia dehumanizes fat people (especially fat women), thus making attraction to them taboo and worthy of ridicule. attraction to skinny people, on the other hand, is not considered a paraphilia because that's what the patriarchy has decided is "normal". stop giving credence to the patriarchy by accepting the pathologization of "deviant" sexuality at face value.
