I miss my aunt's friend from church who used to spoil her/us omg. her sister was on a soap opera back in the day (all my children I think???) and when she died, my aunt's friend inherited most of her money and she would just blow it mostly on the church they all went to, men and lotto tickets asfgjk

I remember her being really nice but also a bit moody all the time (understandably so bc her sister died) omg one time she had this random idea to take me and these other kids from the church to the hamptons bc her family had property there. we were so excited bc our asses only really got to go to jones beach but our moods switched as soon as we got in the car. she cried off-and-on the whole ride while talking abt her sister from this glamorous tv show. mind you, the only shows we know atp are icarly or degrassi, so we were all kinda like ???? anyway, we finally get to the beach or whatever and she gets a call from the church demanding she bring us back right away. apparently, the one of the other children used her phone to text her mom bc she was getting really spooked by this old lady asfghjk. we were there for probably 30 minutes. I asked my aunt a few years ago what was the tea on that and if she remembered and basically she believes that was the year her friend's dementia started to kick in :/
